It’s about that time of the year again! It’s Black History Month. A full month spotlighting the history of African Americans and their impact on society & culture. I can’t emphasize how important it is to appreciate our history and adding to it. I feel like I learn something new everyday about Black history, finding out about new Black public figures or groups making their marks of accomplishment. There are more barriers being broken. On the creative scene, there has been surge of Black Creatives. Lately, I been noticing more and more Black creatives saying goodbye their 9-5s and embarking onto entrepreneurship and creative opportunities.

Museum of Ice Cream ? Candytopia? Color Factory ? All sound familiar ? Yes, of course. These are some of the most popular selfie Instagrammed pop up museums. How many pop up museums or art studios have you actually been to that are founded or Black Owned ? Aren’t you the least bit curious to know more about Black Owned pop ups, art studios or museums exploring Black Culture?
