San Diego Travel Guide: Things To Do/ See, WhereToGo, Eat & Play

San Diego, CA

Dubbed America’s Finest City, San Diego is one California’s best paradise cities. Only two hours from LA, San Diego has idyllic weather (mostly 75 degrees year round), beautiful beaches, plentiful attractions and outdoor activities, street art and OF COURSE good food specifically Mexican & Italian cuisines and friendly locals.

The Scene In San Diego

  • Little Italy - chic, open neighborhood with the trendiest restaurants, cocktail bars and coffee shops. Highly suggest dining at one of the Italian restaurants.

  • Gaslamp - Heart of Downtown SD; Best for nightlife, dining and bar hopping.

  • North Park - Neighborhood full of cute cottages and boutique shops. A lot of classic retro-ish diners and cool coffee shops. My AirBNB was located in this area.

  • Balboa Park- Hillcrest - San Diego’s museum scene, San Diego Zoo; popular attractions of the city. Bohemian & LGBTQ community neighborhood

  • Beaches - La Jolla, Coronado Island, Mission Beach-Pacific Beach. See more detail below about the beaches.
